Crestview Nursing Home in Langhorne, PA with Reviews

So far, it has been good as they are pretty good and the food is also good. They must improve in attention to timing like when you ring the bell, like how long it takes for them to get there, but overall, I am very comfortable. It is very clean; the floors are made of wood, so they could be cleaned easily. The only thing that would need improvement is that the rooms are small and if you have three people with wheelchairs in it, makes really difficult to get around.

In the last year that my sister has been a resident I’ve seen quite a difference in the care she receives. The woman who works at night in the lobby is downright rude! It seemed a year ago when Troy was there it ran more smoothly. I’m sure there’s worse nursing homes but I must say I’m disappointed in their decline. With all the negative stories coming out in the media and that have been felt firsthand, Crestview has gone above and beyond in their care, services, and especially their openness and transparency. Before the first case was reported, the Crestview management began twice daily Zoom meetings with family members of residents, with as many as 70 individuals on each video call. They shared data, procedures, and other information in an honest and forthright manor. They have become friends to all of the family members and we see how amazing they are with our loved ones. Trust me when I say that this is a great facility if you want a place where your loved ones will receive the care and loving support that you would want for them.

When we went to get her belongings, staff would not speak to family and left belongings on the curb while family member went to get the car. I watched a person try to cut a breaded chicken cutlet and they couldn't. Dirty bathrooms with holes in the walls and a leaking toilet that is shared with four people. I've witnessed uncaring nurses such as the one who was told that a patient was trying to cut his mouth with a knife and she continued to talk to a fellow staff person. This nurse was also told that the same patient put a plastic butter cup in his mouth and she took her time getting to him. However, most of the aids are very caring and do their best to help. I can only give this facility a negative rating but I have to rate it so it's getting one star which is way to high of a rating.
